Why I Started This Website: A Journey to Avoid Burnout?
Working in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) is more than just a job—it’s a calling. The high stakes, the constant pressure to solve problems quickly, and the mental energy required to stay ahead of cyber threats can take a toll. While I love what I do, I’ve learned that passion alone isn’t enough to sustain the demands of such an intense career. Burnout is a real risk in this field, and I’ve seen it affect colleagues and friends over the years. I refused to let it happen to me.
That’s why I decided to start this website. It’s my way of stepping back, recharging, and sharing my journey of avoiding burnout with others. For me, the secret lies in variety—engaging in diverse activities outside of work that allow me to reset and refocus. From exploring creative outlets to diving into hobbies I’ve always wanted to try, I’ve discovered that these moments of balance are not just refreshing; they’re vital.
Of course, I’m also active on social media platforms, where I share my journey and insights. In fact, I plan to use this website to promote activities I’ve started on social media, such as Facebook Reels. While I consider myself a content creator, I’m not quite an influencer—at least, not yet. Who knows what the future holds?
Through this platform, I want to explore how doing a variety of activities can help others like me stay energized and passionate about their careers. I’ll be sharing the lessons I’ve learned, the activities that have worked for me, and the stories of others who’ve found ways to thrive in demanding professions. If you’re someone who’s felt the weight of a high-pressure job, this space is for you.
Together, let’s build a community where we can learn to balance our demanding careers with the joy and fulfillment that come from exploring the wider world. Because avoiding burnout isn’t just about surviving the daily grind—it’s about thriving, growing, and living a life you’re excited to wake up to every day.
